Monster Hunter World: Iceborne x Monster Hunter Movie Event Afterthought
Since the announcement of the Monster Hunter Movie has made many of us fellow hunters a bit on edge. Some have been skeptical of the new movie being released for obvious. However, I myself have changed my mind a bit seeing the international trailer of the movie which looks good. The US trailer didn’t sell it well, but I am going to give it a chance. However, Monster Hunter World: Iceborne dropped a special single-player event where we played as Artemis. She is the main protagonist in the Monster Hunter Movie played by Mila Jovovich. So please, enjoy the video thoughts on this Movie collab event.
Artemis invades the land:
It kind of felt like a spoiler as Artemis’s character kept speaking in the past tense. Where she said to the Admiral that they spoke before and he understood English. Now the Admiral wasn’t seen in the trailer yet and already speaking about killing both Diablos and Rathalos kind of killed the mood. Yes, it just felt like a drop on add-on nothing more even the armor set is not impressive when it comes to the stats. You will be able to obtain all the pieces in one go unless you want to keep on farming and sell the ingredients off maybe. It is disappointing we didn’t get a full Artemis skin like the other special characters. We don’t even get new weapon sets, which also makes me question how in-depth will they go in with making armor and weapons in the movie.
What’s next for Monster Hunter?
The next installment for me is going to be the Nintendo Switch version of Monster Hunter Rise. Sadly from what we were told that the Fatalis run is the last bit of content that will be coming to Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. So, will we be expecting a PS5 sequel of Monster Hunter World? Who knows, but hopefully something is in the works with improvements from MH World leading to Iceborne. This is where we depart and I want to say thank you all for checking out the post throughout 2020. I know it has been harsh, but we keep moving forward, always forward. See you next time. – Beast Out –
