The Game Awards showcased some amazing premieres and of course Capcom sent this beast more intel after the reveal. The brand new trailer for Monster Hunter Riseis here and showcases some new monsters and features. let’s check it out.
Monster Hunter Rise Details
Two entirely new monsters will be making their Monster Hunter debuts in Monster Hunter Rise. The trickster Bishaten arrives as a unique new threat with its distinctive tail and fondness for persimmons, which it stores in his stomach and hurls at its prey. Adding to its offensive arsenal, Bishaten is also equipped with multiple tail attack options and powerful spin moves that will require hunters to stay on their toes or risk getting swept off their feet. Also new to the line-up, Somnacanth is an intoxicating aquatic leviathan that can expel sleep powder to temporarily stun opponents, leaving them open for attacks.
As excited as myself and my colleague Fressh_Princ3_ are about the upcoming title. We are more delighted to see the return of two monsters being added to the fight. We have the scaly leviathan Royal Ludroth as well as the poisonous birdlike Great Wroggi. With all that we will also have a new area to fight in the Flooded Forest. This new area will have Hunters engage in an overground and water-logged setting. I can only imagine it being a mixture of the Wildspire Waste area and the Ancient Forest.
The puzzling “Rampage” events that threaten Kamura Village and its denizens were also featured in the trailer, as it appears residents and Monster Hunter Rise players will need to build up their defenses and prepare for the battle of their lifetimes. More information regarding the “Rampage” will be revealed in the months ahead.
All I know that we shall have two options of companions this time around with Palico and Canyne. You can have two palicos or two canyne. Mix it up it is your choice. Here is the best part of all this information as a demo of Monster Hunter Rise for the Nintendo Switch will release worldwide in January 2021. That is a grand way to ring in the New Year if you ask me and right in time for my Birthday. In that, stay tuned for more details and a live demonstration of the demo. If you want to add me on Switch when it drops be sure to follow my channel.
