Kuma’s Unboxing and Review of the PlayStation 5 All-Digital Console
So, we are back at another launch of next-gen systems and on this day Kuma received his PlayStation 5 All-Digital console. Some have asked, “Hey, uh why go all digital?” Honestly, I have been digital since the beginning of the PS4 and never went back. It was convenient and there were more deals. Being that Sony decided to give us an option on launch which the PS5 Digital console was cheaper. I went the cheaper route and I do not regret it. In that, welcome to our review, and please enjoy the video review below.
PlayStation 5 and more
Pros:
- UI is pretty easy to navigate through and doesn’t get in the way.
- Able to play all of my previous PS4 titles.
- The PS5 controller has a good amount of weight to it and as a comfortable design.
- Easy transfer of data from PS4 to PS5.
- Improvements to loading times for new and old titles which is a blessing.
Cons:
- The home button on the controller has fewer functions this time around
- Not being able to store games in different folders is a bummer.
Conclusion:
PlayStation 5 is definitely worth the money and I am looking forward to more features to come. As I stated in my video try to be patient for more rounds of systems coming to stores. Rather you do not overpay for a console from scalpers and besides a lot of the PS5 games are still available on the PS4. The PlayStation 5 is definitely worth the buy where the all-digital consoles go for $399 and the physical edition for $499.
Also, keep in mind that you need to update your headphones as well. Anything used during the PS4 and Xbox One era will not work. So hopefully you obtained the PS5 headsets or Steel Series Artic 7P wireless headphones. There are a few others out there, but I am going by a friend’s recommendation. Also stated in my video, it is ideal to get an external SSD to put your PS4 games on there. Come to find out it is faster as well and leaves room for your PS5 games on the system itself. I will be picking up the Sandisk 1TB Extreme Portable SSD which is not too bad on price. That is good for now.
PS5 all-digital console gets the beast rating of 4.5 Paws out of 5. – Beast Out –
