Good Shepard Reveals John Wick Hex
I have been saying it since the first movie that John Wick needs a video game. The next question of course is how would it turn out, what studio should be the one to back it and how will it play? I don’t really have the means to go to deep so I stayed quiet until today I get an email about an upcoming video game. John Wick Hex is coming just in time for Part 3 of his story.
John Wick Hex on the Digital Field
John Wick Hex is a fast-paced, action-oriented strategy game that makes you think and strike like, John Wick, the professional hitman of Lionsgate’s critically acclaimed film franchise, returning to theaters worldwide on May 17, 2019, with John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum. The game is in development for consoles and will be available for Windows PC and Mac exclusively via the Epic Games Store at launch.
The good news about this new title is that it is backed by the creative stunt team of the film. This plays like an RTS with fight choreograph mechanics. You will play as John Wick utilizing his signature gun fu mechanics as you go through waves of enemies. If you played chess you have to think of the board and be 3 to 5 steps ahead making decisions and dealing with the cost as well as the consequences of each action.
What you see in the movie how John Wick deals with enemies with precision tactics is how you will be in the game. It is up to you to perform well in this original story made for the game to unlock more suit options, weapons and locations. Keep in mind that weapon ammo is limited and each will have you play differently so be wise and make each shot count. It will have the realism of the movie so time your reloads and scavage the weapons on the field as much as possible.
With a game like this, I would hope you could either have an action to disarm an enemy and take their weapon. Even be able to pick up a defeated enemies firearm or blades to use against other opponents.
John Wick Hex complements the style of the films with a unique graphic noir art design and features the world-class voice talents of Ian McShane and Lance Reddick amongst its stellar cast, with other casts for the game to be revealed later.
I am looking forward to checking this title out which will be coming out to consoles, but for PC and Mac will be exclusive to the Epic Game store. Check back for more details and be sure to see John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum in theaters May 17th, 2019. – Beast Out –
