First Impression of Immortals Fenyx Rising
Hey, how’s it going gamers? Kuma here with our first impressions of Immortals Fenyx Rising which is an available demo on Google Stadia. That is right you don’t need a subscription to play it which is pretty cool. We have a lovely video for you to enjoy as well, but I wanted to share some extra details in this post. So please enjoy.
Immortals Fenyx Rising has Personality:
There is something about humor in a video game that has an eccentric feel to it. Immortals Fenyx Rising features some funny commentary of Zeus and Prometheus. They are setting the stage for your demo adventure as you take the role of Fenyx our hero. In this demo sadly you can’t customize the character only switch armor and weaponry. You will have a sword, ax, and bow. Sword will act as your light attacks, the ax for heavy, and the bow for long-range. The fun part is combining all these attacks to do some incredible damage. There are additional attacks for each and course cooldown attacks if you combine certain buttons.
Now, this was an interesting move to make the attacks on the shoulder buttons. Your d-pad is used for your items. the face buttons are your dodge and jumps. If you use certain attacks that take up your stamina, be careful because the cooldown takes a bit.
An interactive Painting:
As Zeus stated at the beginning of the game at the title screen. “Look at that view!” This game is just a treasure to look at. The land and gliding around are amazing to explore. This art style is one of my favorites and always a pleasure to look at since many games today go for that “realism look”. I miss the creative side of things, going beyond the normal, and making the cartoon world come to life. As I said the quirky characters give it personality. Hearing the arguing between Zeus and Prometheus makes me wonder if other characters will show up and add to the dialogue.
For a taste of things to come it was pretty solid with great visuals, fluid gameplay, and a hilarious story so far. It was a nice demo to introduce us to what’s to come from Ubisoft. I am not surprised since we got the Rayman series from them as well as Beyond Good and Evil. This personally is my favorite style of games both artistic and play style. You can check out my video thoughts below and I just wanted to write something quick to touch base. Please share your thoughts on the game that was once called Gods and Monsters now called Immortals Fenyx Rising. – Beast Out –
