What is going on fellow hunters? It is I Kuma here with some Monster Hunter Rise news. As some of you have already witnessed from the developer breakdown of the upcoming Capcom title. First things first are we shall show you what we witnessed today and then going into a brief rundown and thoughts. Sadly though the demo is not available as of right now as stated in the video, but should be available on January 8th to everyone for free. Now, without further delay enjoy the video below of Monster Hunter Rise.
Rundown of the Video:
I am with it. I am ready to partake in this new world and I see a mix of old and new monsters. The main big thing that was fantastic was the “Wyvern Riding”. This is inspired by Monster Hunter Stories where you can raise a monster and fight alongside it and ride. It should have been a thing in Monster Hunter World, so if you do a sequel to World, please implement this feature as well. Thank you, Sony. It was just fun to watch the developers control a monster and use them in combat. There are a few questions on how will this change the fights.
These Monsters already doing big damage numbers especially someone like Rathalos who can deal with poison damage. That was a pretty thing to enjoy. I still dream that one day I can control Nergigante!
